Quick update

Sorry for the lack of communication yesterday.  When we arrived back at our hotel they informed us that the wi-fi was down and would not be working again during our stay.  This was after we were in for the night and had no way to get word to you.  Rest assured, we are doing well and have just checked into our Dublin hotel, the last hotel of our stay.  We have a performance this evening, so I'll post photos and hopefully some video after the performance.

Here is the complete set of photos from the Blarney Castle tour yesterday.  You will feel a little like you are viewing the Granlund family photo album at times because the group was very spread out on the grounds.  I have a few students who will be sharing some additional photos with me when we return and I'll put more up at a later time.

A fireplace from the second floor
You could see small sections of the stucco remaining with the elaborate scrollwork.

Enthralled with the history of the family room.

It was a tight stairway!  I'm a tad claustrophobic and I made it!

Beautiful morning view despite the cold temperatures.

The view from the top.

A bit a contortionist movement to get out from kissing the Blarney Stone!

Waiting in line to kiss the Blarney Stone.

Sorry for the flash, but interesting information about the murder hole.

Laurel is OBSESSED with lambs.  She has loved all of these cute "Wacky Woolies."
A tasty treat to help warm up after the castle visit.

Luckily, they let this puppy in to have a snack as well.
The small towns and villages here are all so well kept and colorful!
The extent of the snow here right now...at the top of the mountain!
Very glamorous restroom at the "rest stop".  Seriously, this is what all rest stops should be like!

Curves, and more curves!  This was in the Killarney National Park.  The guides told us about some races that are held here each May.  They also explained how several of the race cars are at the bottom of the lake...better them than us, I guess.  Really, our drivers are amazing.

It was a tight fit, but we made it through the tunnel!
